Sculptra® (Poly-L Lactic Acid) is a type of biostimulator that once injected into the face and body, it stimulates collagen production. Collagen is a protein that supports elastin and hydration of the skin. With normal aging over the years, collagen production declines leaving the skin saggy and wrinkled.
