DERMAL FILLER

A dermal filler is a product that Livia Manner, FNP injects into your skin to add volume and create a lifting effect. There are many types of fillers ranging from a very smooth to a viscous consistence. Many are made of hyaluronic acid. While others are made of calcium and lactic acid for example. Livia Manner, FNP-BC with her twelve years of aesthetic injectable experience will help you to select the right filler to address your needs.

Neurotoxins vs Filler

Surgery and laser therapy were the only methods available for improvement of the aging face in the past. Over the decades, nonsurgical procedures have gained popularity for facial rejuvenation. Our goal at Aesthetic Excellence® is to enhance your own natural look as opposed to create a plastic appearance.

Two Main Types of Injectables:

Injectable therapy falls into two major categories:

  • Neuromodulator Therapy such as Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®.
  • Dermal Filler Therapy such as Restylane®, Juvederm®, Radiesse®, and Belotero®.
1. Neuromodulator Therapy (BOTOX®)

Neuromodulators are extremely effective in minimizing or removing animated wrinkles caused by repetitive face movements. They are highly purified muscle relaxant injected to relax and thus smooth wrinkles away.

BOTOX® is the most common nonsurgical procedure performed in the world. No downtime, minimal discomfort, and safe results. This can be done at any time during your workday, and you can return to work minutes after the treatment. Patient receiving Botox® often comment that they appear less tired or as if they just returned from a relaxing vacation.

2. Dermal Filler

Livia Manner FNP injects the dermal filler to provide the Liquid Facelift or Face Enhancement in patients who have volume loss to areas of their face due to aging and weight loss for example. The filler can also be used to augment areas of the face in young adults who desire to perfect their looks. Clients are commonly injected by Livia in the lips, glabella (middle forehead), lower eyelid, nasolabial folds (fold between cheek and lips), cheeks, jawlines, marionette lines (lines around outside of mouth) for example.

Nurse Practitioner Livia uses needles and microcannulas for the injections to create her liquid facelift: Needles provide precision, while cannulas reduce the extent of bruising.
